Some mats available, but if you own one, please bring it along with a blanket and a water bottle. Straps and bolsters available.

Wear comfortable clothes for freedom of movement. Practicing yoga on an empty stomach is highly recommended.

Riding The Wave Of The Breath, the 5 stages

Om symbol Breathe... as soon as we become aware of our breath, something deep inside begins to change;

Om symbol Relax... muscular tension begins to soften, mental activity lessens, the mind calms;

Om symbol Feel... more present for ourself, we discover a spaciousness inside;

Om symbolWatch...witnessing, observing body and mind with compassion, like a mother would for her child;

Om symbol Allow...by not trying to control our experience, we are free allow it to reveal to ourself who we really are;

Kripalu Yoga Schedule and Fees

Intermediate (vigorous)

Tuesday 5:30pm - 7:15pm
Thursday 1pm - 2:30pm

Become attuned to balancing breath with energy, will with surrender, and strength with flexibility. This class encourages mindfulness and sensitivity to self. The variety of asanas is more flowing, the postures are held longer. Meditation and relaxation (a guided awareness) are included.

Advanced Beginner (moderate)

Wednesday 5:30-7pm
Friday 8-9:30am

This class blends the elements of a beginning class while progressing into moderately advanced standing and sitting poses and backbends. We will develop a deeper awareness of synchronizing one's breath with movement.

Fees for a 6 week session

If you take classes in Svaroopa and Kripalu yoga both, use the Kripalu yoga fee
